Get watching in under ten minutes.

Fire TV devices need one extra app before you start, because the player is not in the default Amazon store listing.

1. 1From the Fire TV home screen, open Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options, and switch on Apps from Unknown Sources.
2. 2Return home, search for the Downloader app, install it and open it.
3. 3In Downloader, enter the player download link we send with your credentials and press Go.
4. 4Install the player when the download finishes, then open it.
5. 5Enter the username, password and server URL from your welcome message exactly as written.
6. 6Wait for the channel list and programme guide to load — the first load takes a minute or two.

Tip: If playback stutters after a few weeks, clear the player's cache from Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications.

Most modern smart TVs carry a compatible IPTV player directly in their own app store, so no sideloading is needed.

1. 1Open your TV's app store — Samsung Apps, LG Content Store, or Google Play on Android TV.
2. 2Search for the player we recommend in your welcome message and install it.
3. 3Open the player and note the device ID or MAC address it displays, if it asks for one.
4. 4Send that ID to support, or enter your credentials directly if the player asks for a username and password.
5. 5Reopen the player once activation is confirmed and let the channel list download.

Tip: Samsung and LG sets vary by model year. If the recommended player is missing from your store, message support and we will name an alternative that works on your exact model.

Apple devices install everything from the App Store, so setup is the simplest of any platform.

1. 1Open the App Store on your Apple TV, iPhone or iPad.
2. 2Search for a supported IPTV player — we name the current recommendation in your welcome email.
3. 3Install the app and open it.
4. 4Choose to add a playlist, then enter the server URL, username and password we sent you.
5. 5Save, and allow the channel list and guide to populate before browsing.

Tip: On iPhone and iPad, turn off Low Data Mode for your Wi-Fi network — it can cap streaming quality unnecessarily.

Android covers phones, tablets, TV boxes and projectors. The steps are the same across all of them.

1. 1Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
2. 2Search for the recommended IPTV player and install it.
3. 3Open the app and select the option to add a new playlist or user.
4. 4Enter your server URL, username and password, then save.
5. 5Let the channel list sync, then set your preferred categories as favourites.

Tip: On an Android TV box, a wired ethernet connection makes a noticeable difference to 4K playback stability.

MAG boxes connect through a portal URL rather than a username and password, so we need your MAC address first.

1. 1On your MAG box, open Settings, then System Settings, then find the MAC address on the About screen.
2. 2Send that MAC address to support so we can register your device.
3. 3Once we confirm, go to Settings, then Servers, then Portals.
4. 4Enter a portal name of your choosing and paste the portal URL we provide.
5. 5Save the settings and restart the box from the power menu.
6. 6The portal loads automatically on restart and your channels appear.

Tip: Restart the box fully rather than just exiting the menu — MAG portals only reload on a genuine reboot.

Desktop playback works either through VLC or through a dedicated IPTV application, depending on whether you want a programme guide.

1. 1Install VLC Media Player, or the desktop IPTV player named in your welcome message.
2. 2In VLC, open the Media menu and choose Open Network Stream.
3. 3Paste the M3U playlist link we sent you and press Play.
4. 4For a full guide and categories, use the dedicated player instead and enter your username, password and server URL.
5. 5Save the playlist so it reloads automatically next time you open the app.

Tip: VLC plays the streams but has no programme guide. Use the dedicated player if you want the EPG and catch-up.
